The 440-room sirene belek golf hotel is linked to antalya golf club, one of belek's finest golfing complexes. Residents and tourists are in the lucky situation of being able to play either the pga sultan or the pasha, two fantastic 18-hole formats.

The courses, which were designed in the late 1990s by david jones and european golf design, wound their way through forests, up and over sandy hills, and through crystal clear ponds that were once swamps. Each course has water on half of the holes, and there are a couple of pot bunkers to clear on the fairways and along the putting greens.

The pga sultan's front nine concludes with a classic risk/reward hole, a 362-yard par four called "the option." a bold tee shot would collide with water on the left to set up an easy second shot, while a smoother drive down the right would bring two clubs to the approach.

The next six holes, from "the keyhole" to "the big fellow," are all challenging par fours, with the long, narrow 12th hole at 476 yards being one of the most difficult on any of the belek courses. âĢľbe proud of a par here,âĢĿ the club says of this hole.
