The historical Villa D'Este is a hotel with an incredible setting overlooking the lake. The grounds are expansive and include many different areas for guests to enjoy; one such area that stands out in my mind was how perfectly designed this garden seemed. Golf enthusiasts will be in awe of the challenging 18-hole parkland course that winds its way through chestnut, ash and pine trees. With one hundred fifty six meters above sea level on Mont Agel, it is considered a very difficult par 69 with breathtaking views for all levels.
